A Look Into Patrick Tan’s Career

Dr Patrick Tan Boon Oo is a medical doctor who completed his MD PhD in Stanford University. He received the Charles Yanofsky prize for Most Outstanding Graduate Thesis in Physics, Biology or Chemistry from the University. Tan also completed his B. A. from Harvard University.

Since 2012, Tan has been a professor of cancer and stem cell biology at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore. Also, he is the senior group leader of the Genome Institute of Singapore from 2013 to present. He is the principal investigator (adjunct) of the National Cancer Centre in Singapore. Professor Tan is the professor (Adjunct), Dept of Physiology, National University of Singapore.
